Council is seeking to improve pedestrian safety and support active transport near Pacific Hills Christian School.

Following feedback received during the September consultation, Council has reviewed the original proposal and is now presenting a second option for community consideration.

Option 2 proposes a crossing located centrally along the school’s frontage.

Key features include:

• A 1.5‑metre‑wide footpath on the southern side of Quarry Road (between Dons Road and Harris Road), and along the eastern side of Harris Road (outside the Childcare Centre), connecting to Quarry Road.
• A pedestrian crossing on Quarry Road, located west of Dons Road.
• Improved pedestrian connectivity

In 2025, Council consulted the community on Quarry Rd, option 1.

Council reviewed more than fifty community submissions and met with the local school. Based on this feedback, an alternative concept has now been prepared.

The results of the consultation will be reviewed by Council and amendments may be made to the proposal before it is implemented.
