What's Happening?

Council is proposing to install a Raised Pedestrian Crossing in Quarry Road, Dural. The construction will provide a safe crossing location for pedestrians, particularly school children, and will function as a speed reduction device within the school zone.

Why?

The aim is to improve road user safety, by providing a safer crossing for pedestrians, particularly for school children, and to also introduce a speed reduction device within the school zone.

When?

Please note that that the proposed works are currently unfunded. However, Council is proactively preparing these design plans and cost estimates and is investigating funding opportunities so works can be constructed as soon as possible.
