In 2021 Hornsby Shire Council adopted an Off-Leash Dog Park Strategy to guide the development and operation of off-leash dog parks within Hornsby Shire. Following requests and feedback from the community, the Strategy recommended that Council trial the provision of a separate area for small dogs, puppies, frail and senior dogs at Greenway off-leash Dog Park, Cherrybrook with a review after six months.

An extension to the Greenway Park off-leash dog park has been created and is now open for use by small dogs, puppies, frail and senior dogs only and you are invited to provide feedback on your experience.
