What's happening

Council is proposing to install a marked pedestrian crossing to replace the current children’s crossing in Tecoma Drive, Glenorie near Glenorie Public School. The upgrade of the crossing will provide a safe crossing location for pedestrians, especially school children.

Key features of the proposal are:

  1. Removal of existing line markings and signage related to the children’s crossing and installation of line markings and signage related to a full-time pedestrian crossing.
  2. Replacement of existing part time ‘No Stopping’ restrictions in Tecoma Drive with full time ‘No Stopping’ near the crossing.
  3. Installation of kerb ramps and footpath connections.

A plan of the proposal can be found in the document library.

Council invites your comments on the proposal by close of business Thursday, 14 December 2023.
