Council has received complaints regarding the safety of commuters at the bus stop located east of Harris Road (ID 2078118). Pedestrians using this bus stop are forced to cross Milson Parade near the crest. Council has discussed the issue with the bus company (TransDev) which confirmed a new location for the bus stop should be investigated.

To improve safety for commuters using the bus stops along Milson Parade, Council is proposing to relocate bus stops ID 2078118 and ID 207663 to safer locations along Milson Parade, FROM east of Harris Road TO the east of Twickenham Close. Pedestrians who cross Milson Parade will have a better sight distance at the new locations.

This new bus stop locations will also allow Council to provide a pedestrian facility at the site in the future.

The results of the consultation will be referred to the Hornsby Local Traffic Committee for consideration and recommendation to Council.
