Council is proposing new parking restrictions in Golden Grove, Cherrybrook to help improve traffic flow and ensure better access to residential properties in Golden Grove,

The proposed changes include installing:

🚫 ‘No Parking, 9am-3pm, Mon-Fri’ signs to be installed along the western side of Golden Grove between John Road and the cul-de-sac.

These restrictions are consistent with measures implemented in nearby residential streets, such as Dalkeith Road.

Residents of Golden Grove have raised concerns with Council about ongoing parking issues in the street. On weekdays, commuters frequently park in Golden Grove.

Due to the street's narrow layout this can cause significant problems can occur when vehicles are parked directly opposite each other. This makes it challenging for vehicles to enter and exit Golden Grove safely.

The results of the consultation will be reviewed by Council and amendments may be made to the proposal before it is implemented.
