Council has prepared a draft Landscape Concept Plan for Mills Park, Asquith to set a vision for upcoming capital works upgrades.

The draft Landscape Concept Plan proposes the following items:

• Renewal of the playground including a multiplay unit, swings, nature play equipment and mini trampoline.
• New pedestrian paths
• Outdoor fitness station with a range of equipment
• Remove chainmesh fence from Chelmsford Road frontage and replace with sandstone block bollards
• Re-paint the existing tennis hit-up wall
• Installation of a netball hoop
• Site signage
• Additional tree plantings to improve shade around the playspace

Update – Nov 2024

Following the community consultation period the Draft Landscape Concept plan was amended to take on board the feedback we received from the community. The revised Landscape Concept Plan is available to view in the document library.
