We are very aware of the community’s concern about possible impacts on insurance premiums and land values associated with properties being designated as Flood Control Lots, particularly where only a small portion of the developable land is affected.

In response to these concerns, we have been exploring ways of addressing some of the issues, as well as trying to find suitably qualified people who would attend a community forum to provide more information and answer questions.

Unfortunately, this has proven very difficult to achieve but we are still exploring some channels of enquiry.

While we pursue some answers to address your concerns, we will not schedule another community session.
