Drop In Session - Cherrybrook Metro Station
What's Happening?
The NSW Government has released a revised Cherrybrook Precinct Rezoning Proposal, which significantly changes the future vision for the area.
The proposal outlines a vision for a new town centre near the Cherrybrook Metro Station, featuring 9,350 new homes in buildings up to 28 storeys high. Of these, 4,256 homes would be located within Hornsby Shire. It also includes plans for new parks, walking and cycling connections, and 5-10% affordable rental housing.
Council is advocating for more time for residents to review these changes and understand the impacts.
