Background
Hornsby Shire Council is seeking community input on proposed renewal works at Charles Curtis Park, Pine Street, Normanhurst.
Following initial community consultation to capture what are the needs, aspirations and preferences identified by the community, a draft concept plan will be developed by early 2025.
The concept design will consider:
- The overall vision for the park.
- The arrangement of paths, playground, and fencing.
- Possible improvements to park facilities.
- Upgrades to park signage in accordance with Council’s Signage Manual.
- Areas for new planting.
- Location of shade
Following the development of a draft concept plan, detail design will be undertaken with funding to be allocated in the 2025/26 budget for construction.
