In accordance with Section 34 of the Local Government Act 1993, Council gives notice of a proposed resolution to classify Lot 1 DP 1284969, being land purchased for road widening, as “Operational Land”.

Council negotiated the purchase of the road widening from the Hornsby Fire Station site on the corner of Bridge Road and Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby. The land has an area of 16.1m2 and will create a splay corner.

An Acquisition Notice was published in the Government Gazette on 23 January 2023 and this, together with supporting plans, is included in the document library.

After classification as “Operational Land” the land will be dedicated as Public Road.
